Draining the tank for fuel calibration or any type of fuel tank maintenance is now a piece of cake.
No more taping a tongue depressor/wooden stick/whatever you have laying around or holding the sump button until your finger feels like it is going to fall off while trying to get the last bit of unusable fuel drained.
How many times have you tried to drain into a bucket only to have a gust of wind blow fuel all over the pad?
Screw this into the sump drain port until it bottoms out and the hose will guide all the fuel into the bucket. After that, it is on you to not tip over the bucket while dragging it out from underneath the aircraft.
