Use the tap hammer on main rotor blades or any other composite material to check for delamination.
Equivalent to T75449-2
Aluminum: Softer impact. Good for thin laminates or delicate surfaces where you don’t want to cause damage.
Brass: Balanced weight and damping. Often preferred as an all-purpose tap hammer.
Steel: Hard, high-energy impact. Good for thicker composites or areas with heavy layups where subtle delaminations are harder to hear.
